The Costa Dorada hosts the IGTM, the most important golf tournament

IGTM arrives, the most important international event in golf

Between 11 and November 14, the Costa Dorada will host the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) a global event dedicated to the sport of golf which provides for the participation of more than 1,500 professionals linked to this activity and tourism. Port Aventura and the complex Lumine Mediterranea Beach & Golf Community will be two of the most prominent.

Nearly 350 people go to the fifth edition of the ride and hike Festival

A popular walk, a hike and ride this morning has begun one of the most crowded of the festival on 30 October in Salou. The three 'fronts' which have brought together nearly 350 people, despite the windy conditions, have participated jointly in each of the disciplines: popular excursion organized by the Ramblers Group of Salou, the bicycle bike club Salou a group walk with the support of the Primary Health Care Centre in Salou.

Salou open six football fields in 2012 to lead the sports tourism in Costa Dorada

Between the spring and summer of 2012, Salou add to its offering a large sports facilities promoted by private and dedicated to soccer practice. Xavier Blasi, CEO of campsites Sangulí Salou and Cambrils Park, is also the promoter of this new project, which is expected to attract in the first year of operation more than 200 soccer teams from northern and central Europe. The initiative wants to position Salou in sports tourism and open the municipality and the Costa Dorada to the seasonality of the tourism season, and complement the offer of sun and beach.
