The Repsol guide provides the AQ Restaurant AQ with a SOL
Tarragona. Costa Dorada. The Restaurant AQ (C / cakes, 7) of Tarragona, has been recognized with one SOL, which annually awards the Repsol Guide to the best restaurants of the year in quality and variety of dishes. The distinction lies first in a restaurant in the city of Tarragona, only five establishments in the province have this recognition. According Quinsac Quintin, owner of Restaurant AQ, "We're obviously thrilled with this SOL, which is equivalent to the stars awarded by the Michelin Guide and a very important recognition of our progress." Five years after opening its doors, the Restaurant AQ is reaping the fruits of traditional and innovative cuisine based on top quality. Recently, the magazine Discover Cuisine and Gastronomy Forum felt that establishment of the Parte Alta of Tarragona as one of six "essential" of Catalonia, becoming the first restaurant in the area to reach this category. The AQ also has mention in the Michelin Guide and has occupied space on the pages of mainstream media in Catalonia and Spain, with many reviews that highlight the quality of their product since it was put into operation five years ago. Last December, the AQ celebrated its fifth anniversary by preparing a special menu consisting of dishes chosen by popular vote among customers.
