About 200 people participate in the 3rd ,Ascent to the Portella, in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant
L'Hospitalet de l'Infant. Costa Dorada. 5 March 2012. As they anticipate the organizers of the 3rd and Race Walking Mountain "Rise to Portella," about 200 people took part on Sunday March 4th at this sporting event: 132 in the form of race and 70 in the form hike. The winners of the race, the first Circuit Racing Down the Mountain Camp 2012, were: Sergi Casas, the club's Opening Draw, in the male category, and Teresa Oven, Diedre club in the male category. Casas, also champion of last year, reached 18,200 feet the travel circuit in 1:24:29, and Oven, 1:58:29. In the local category, the first runner was Javier Heras, the Club wall and Tuga Castle (which was in 5th overall) and the first runner, Noemi Susini, Mestral the Sierras Mountaineering Center (which was in 89th position). Moreover, the winners of the walk, with a circuit of 13,200 feet, were Abdessamad Yazidi, club UEC Tortosa, with a time of 1:26:37 in the men's, and Fortuny Silvia, the club Excta. The Canonja with a time of 1: 42:37 in the female category. All participants enjoyed the beauty of the circuit, which brought up from sea level to the tip of La Portella, which is 567 meters high, and received a commemorative T-shirt of the race, as have highlighted the organizers of the Sierras Mountaineering Centre Mestral has organized with the City of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant and its Athletic Department, and the support of several companies and organizations.
