The coat of Cabrafeicet and the cave of the Mallada

At the end of Perelló are the most important prehistoric remains remote and the Baix Ebre. The coat Cabrafeixet preserved cave paintings of great artistic and technical quality, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1998, and at his side, is the Mallada cave, which was inhabited by man of the Upper Paleolithic. To access the starting point of the route is out Perelló (to get there from Tortosa C-42 takes the lead up to the N-340, which leads directly to the people on the left) for N -340 and crosses the town. Immediately take the local road towards TV-3022 Rasquera and Mora d´Ebre. After 8 km turn to be a paved path on the left with an indicator to the cave paintings. After 2 km you right tomb also marked a path toward the caves. Finally, after 700 m of this deviation, we take a track to the left, rises until, at 1.5 miles to the parking area of the Mallada cave, where you can park car. From the parking lot up the road signposted to the right of a small ravine, and 15 min, reached the Cabrafeixet coat, with magnificent prehistoric paintings naturalists. They are hunting scenes of the era of highly technical. The same road leads away, climbing a trail on the right, the Mallada cave, the 20 min ride. In the cave of 20 meters deep and 7 high, were also paintings even more remote than the previous ones, but disappeared. From here is seen to the left, the Sierra del Boix by thick forests and rugged mountains. Disposes the road.
