The First Marathon Costa Dorada already has 800 participants

Salou. Costa Dorada. The next November 14, 2010, will bring together participants in Salou I Costa Dorada Marathon. The event already has over 800 registered and support of Portaventura and municipalities of the Costa Dorada. The first Costa Dorada Marathon is the first marathon to be held between the towns of Salou and Cambrils, the number of entries is over 800 and since that the organization is expected to exceed 2000, which would become the second largest in the whole of Catalonia . The test consists of two runs of 42 and 10km respectively. The start and end location will Portaventura Convention Center and joins Salou and Cambrils through the port. The marathon will include the runner Martin Fiz as host, as well as runners from both the state and foreign. Prominent among them, the participation of José Luis Blanco and Pilar Hidalgo, triathlon world champion. The First Marathon Costa Dorada is organized by the Club Atlético Runnersworld and has the support of the Tourist Board of the County of Salou, the towns of Cambrils and Vila-seca La Pineda and support of Portaventura, which made available to the event near 250 volunteers.
