From August 3 to 15, 2024, Salou will experience the Nits Daurades, which is the name by which its Festival is known. In this edition, the City Council has proposed to promote and publicize local talent with a significant presence of Salou artists in the festive program, and that is why the slogan of the festival is Let's make Salou's talent shine. All the events, and the times and places of celebration are detailed below.
Program of events:
Saturday, August 3, at 8:30 p.m., at the Municipal Tourist Board (Xalet Torremar on Passeig Jaume I)
Pregón, by Sergio González Fernández, coordinator of Strategic Marketing and Development of Solutions at AENOR. Then, Thunderstorm to start the festivities in front of the Municipal Tourist Board.
Sunday, August 4, at 8:30 p.m., in the Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes
Exhibition of festive elements from Salou. The little ones can take advantage of the opportunity to give their pacifier to the Morena de Salou.
Tuesday, August 6, at 10 p.m., in the Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes
Salou Festival Orchestra: “From opera to tango”. Symphony orchestra that will perform a selection of pieces by Astor Piazzolla, Osvaldo Requena and Carlos Gardiel, among others. Conducted by Melani Mestre.
Wednesday, August 7
• At 6:30 p.m. in the Espigó del Moll: Xic’s children’s workshops
• At 10 p.m., in the Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: Habaneras with the groups Son de l’Havana, Els Cremats and the group Xicranda.
Thursday, August 8, at 10:30 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes Magic show with young Harry Merlin Piper, magician of the year from The Magic Circle.
Friday, August 9
• At 10 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Flamenco Show, by Mónica Novillo's company.
Saturday, August 10
• At 8 p.m., on Passeig Jaume I - Espigó del Moll: Sardanas with the Cobla Reus Jove and the Agrupació Sardanista Tarragona Dansa.
• At 9.30pm, on Passeig Jaume I from the Patronato de Turismo to the Fuente Luminosa: Fire Night with the Diables Maleïts i Bruixes Latemó, Xaloc, Morena de Salou and other invited groups.
It is advisable not to invade or obstruct the space where the fire groups perform and to respect safety distances at all times. Follow the instructions of the members of the fire groups and the public order services at all times.
You cannot play with the remains of the pyrotechnic material.

• At 10pm, in Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: ¡Ochentazo! Party of the 80s. Review of the best songs and melodies of this era. With the collaboration of Flash Back Discotheque

• At 8pm, in Plaça de les Comunitats Autònomes: The musical talent of Salou, in concert. With the performance of Salou DJ artists (from 8pm to 8.30pm), urban music (from 8.30pm to 10pm) and pop music (from 10pm to 11pm).
• At 11 p.m. in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: Salsa Night with Agustín Aspa and his Habana group.
Tuesday, August 13 • At 8:30 p.m., in the Plaza de las Comunitats Autònomes: performance by Bada Bing Band with rock versions.

Violet and Multicoloured Point, in the Plaça de las Comunitats Autònomes – sports area, on the following days:
- 10 August (from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.)
- 11 August (from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.)
- 13 August (from 9:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.) and
- 15 August (from 22:00 to 03:30 h).
The Violet and Mmulticoloured Point has the function of informing and supporting in cases of gender-based violence and discrimination, and anyone who sees or directly suffers aggression and/or discrimination can go to it. In case of any emergency, affected people can also call 112.
