L'Hospitalet launched a new service to receive the Tourist guide via Mobile
Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. The Tourist Board and L'Hospitalet de l'Infant Vall de Llors has launched a new service through which people who have a cellphone with Bluetooth technology can receive the tourist guide of the town on their phones for free , according to the Councillor for Tourism, Maite Boquera. The connection point is about the tourist office in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, located at Alamanda Street. At this point, citizens who want access to this service must connect the phone's Bluetooth connectivity from the menu and answer 'yes' to receive the invitation. Thus, in a few seconds, you can consult your mobile tourist guide, offered in five languages: Catalan, Spanish, German, English and French and includes an interactive map of the town, where there are marked points of interest with a brief description of these (for example, the old hospital, the marina, Marine Base, etc.).. It also contains the schedule of activities, photographs of the town, and a directory of addresses and phone numbers (of facilities, lodging establishments, restaurants of all kinds). Even has an option whereby you can send the guide to a friend. 70% of the project linked to new technologies has been funded by the council of Tarragona, and the remainder by the City Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant.
