Salou travel to the World Travel Market in London to entice the English Tourism

Salou. Costa Dorada. The brands Costa Daurada and Terres de l'Ebre feature prominently on the international tourist exhibition World Travel Market, held this week in the city of London with the participation of more than 5,000 exhibiting companies, 50,000 professionals from the tourism industry and a estimate of 30,000 visitors. The profile of exhibitors from organizations promoting tourist destinations around the world to telemarketers, travel agencies, professional associations, technology and online travel companies (these two areas with considerable growth of 9% in the 2008 ). Until the British capital has shifted an expedition from the Tourist Board of the Costa Dorada, headed by its president Joan Aregio, along with the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, the councilor of the consistory Salouenc tourism, the president of Association of Tourist Apartments and a broad representation of the business fabric of the Tarragona area tourism. The performance, conducted jointly by a dozen municipal tourism boards of municipalities of the Costa Daurada and Terres de l'Ebre, Port Aventura and the Patrons of the Provincial Tourism, enables professionals from our home meetings with the world's major tour operators, tourist attractions and promote the diversity of the area and define the mechanisms of collaboration needed in a market that shows signs of containment still high. In this sense, Salou Tourist Board had contacts with the airlines Jet2 low cost, which will start operations from next year, connecting the city of Manchester to the capital of Baix Camp. World Travel Market Fair has established itself in recent years as one of the most important gatherings in Europe and the world. Last year set a new record for participation with attendance of 49,963 and 26,446 professional visitors. The fair opened to the public on Monday, November 9 and will close its doors on Thursday 12th evening.
