Salou welcomes Christmas concerts Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya at 3 and 7 January
Salou. Costa Dorada. The Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya (JONC) in Salou offer two Christmas concerts at the Teatro Auditorio de Salou (TAS) the next 3 and January 7 at eight o'clock. Day 3 The concert is free entry, while the day 7 has a symbolic price of 5 euros. This is the eighth consecutive year Salou welcomes these concerts, which normally constitute a great public success and reunion with the music and culture. The musicians that make up the JONC are selected annually from among about 500 young hopefuls, some of whom come from the music school of Salou. Eight years of Christmas concerts in Salou This is the eighth consecutive year that the young musicians and their teachers are in Salou to prepare the meetings of the National Orchestra of Catalonia Jove. The two concerts that feature in Salou JONC will last just over an hour and begin at eight o'clock. On Tuesday, January 3 (JONC Fry) Excerpts from the concert will include the suite of 'The Boréades' (Jean Philip Rameau) and Symphony No. 101 'The Clock' by Joseph Haydn. The concert on day 7, also at eight o'clock, start with two pieces of Catalan composers (Ricard Lamote de Grignon and Rafael Ferrer) and the second part continues with the Symphony no. 3 of J. Brahms.
