People's parade, dance and music for dance complete the Day of Santa Tecla in Tarragona

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. The Day of Santa Tecla starts today September 23 from very early in the Plaza de la Fuente the Anada a ofici, the parade and the Greeting to the Senyera by municipal trumpeters, who will accompany it since entering at 9:15am the Pla de la Seu and along its route for the descent of carrer Misericordia, the c. But it is clear that the festival continues. At 7pm the Pla de la Seu will host the procession of Santa Tecla, its arm and the third and final departure of the entire parade and groups of castles.   At Around 8 pm, at the threshold of the Cathedral. appears the holy tabernacle and the Musical Union Band will perform the March from Santa. The Chapel of the Cathedral, the clergy, representatives of sister cities and the Municipal Corporation, with escort of Macer and Police will accompany the procession, closing it by moving along the following streets Padre Iglesias, c. Merceria, Coles, Mayor, Rei, Santa Ana, forum (both sides of the square), Arc of St. Bernard, Granada and PL. San Antonio, finally returning to the Pla de la Seu. At approximately 9.15 pm, the Arm of Santa Tecla will enter the Pla.
