Over 1 million investment in the TV-3146 between La Pineda and access to Salou's lighthouse

Salou. Costa Dorada. The TV-3146 between the beach of La Pineda (Vila-seca) and the roundabout to access the lighthouse in Salou soon will undergo a major transformation thanks to investment by Tarragona Province, a total of 1.19 million euros. This was announced by the chairman of the council of Tarragona, Josep Poblet, as part of the inauguration of the new Logistics Centre Services Salou, financed by the Province of Tarragona. Until now, the town of Salou and Vila-seca there had been partial performance, although the current project will provide a continuity solution in the whole section. In this sense, Josep Poblet highlighted the importance of the work, as it will improve the urban structure of Salou and the surrounding areas. Meanwhile, the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, thanked the Council "the effort, both as regards the redevelopment of the TV-3146 as the construction of the new Logistics Centre Services Salou, a project which has provided 411,000 euros. Tarragona Province approved the project on January 28, during the month of March will provide the project financially, and within 3 or 4 months will be awarded. The works will provide basic lighting and road pavements, through which significantly improve safety on this road, where they have built more residential and tourism, and therefore, there has been a considerable increase in traffic and pedestrian vehicles. Specifically, it includes the construction of sidewalks between 4.000 and 5.260 kilometer points. The first 285 feet of this section are the municipality of Vila-Seca, and the rest in the town of Salou. The type section of the road is a 7-meter carriageway, verges and pavements of 0.50 meters wide, 1.80 meters higher than variable. Besides space for pedestrians along the entire stretch is projected installation of columns with lights.  The lighting will also be installed at the existing roundabout. It also will build a rainwater collector, it will install water collection and bagpipe will be the extension of two sections of sewer and work necessary to replace several sections of pipe supply water. Finally, the works will be completed with the horizontal and vertical signage and replacement of the affected services.
