Local Police Salou celebrates the festival of the patron Saint Michael
Salou. Costa Dorada. Local Police Salou today celebrated this September 27th 2010, the day of Saint Michael, guardian angel and patron of the Police. This afternoon mounted an outdoor ceremony in front of the offices of the Police where local security forces, along with an extensive representation of vehicles and other forces such as the Catalan police or Civil Guard have wanted to meet in an emotional ceremony. The Chief Inspector of Police, Jose Luis Gargallo, has been commissioned to begin the event with his speech where he highlighted the "professionalism of agents from the youngest to the oldest" and reminded " responsibility and dedication of a body that is serving the public. " Meanwhile, the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados acknowledged the work undertaken preventive agents "that is indispensable in the field of security" and added that "the attention with a police presence and proximity has been a challenge because this area represents a benchmark in the level of citizen satisfaction. " Granados has closed the ceremony by thanking "the local police on their efforts in fulfilling its duty, which deserves our recognition and confidence to develop effective and exemplary service in maintaining basic public order" and has encouraged officers to "continue your work as contributing to Salou with a better quality of life." Finally, the authorities and council members have made a tour of the facilities of the local police accompanied by representatives of different bodies.
