The cooking classes in the XIII Conference of the tuna are of great interest

This week started the free cooking classes scheduled in the XIII Conference of Tuna Hospitalet de l'Infant and Parrot Valley, which opened on Sunday April 22 and ending June 3. These courses are very successful. Proof of this is that 15 places have been offered for each of the 6 courses held this year have been filled already. However, it will open a waiting list for people who want to sign up to do so and have the opportunity to receive lessons in case some of those registered can not attend then (you should contact the Tourism Office in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant). Those responsible for running these courses are 6 of the 12 food chefs who take part in the conference this year. Specifically, the chefs of the restaurants and the Yacht Olla, L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, El rebost de Nuri, the Masboquera, the Hotel Restaurant La Figuerola Vandellòs; the Missamaroi, Tivissa, and La Cuina d´en Carlos, Pratdip. The first course was held on Tuesday 24 April at the restaurant L´ Olla and the rest are scheduled for 8, 15, 22, 29 and 31 May from 6 to 7pm, the restaurant establishments. As part of these courses, professional chefs teach students to prepare meals that are included in the menus that offer their establishments during the conference, the tuna is the star. For example, ravioli filled with vegetables and tuna, mushroom cream Napata, tuna salad, tomato and pink onions marinated in vinegar Vermejo, cannelloni of truffled tuna, vegetables and meatballs Tagliatelle with tuna, and pintxo marinated tuna loin.
