About 350 people celebrated the Feast of the Olive
Vandellós. Costa Dorada. January 14, 2013. About 350 people took part in the Feast of the Olive IX, organized on Sunday January 13, the Board of Agricultural Cooperative Vandellòs, with the collaboration of the City of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l ' Child Cultural Center, Sports and Recreational Vandellòs (CCERV) and the Group of Bowling Vandellòs. Among these people, there was the mayor of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant, Alfonso Garcia, and several councilors of the council, the president of the Agricultural Cooperative Vandellòs, Ramon Arbós, the director of the regional Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Food and Environment of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Tarragona, Anton Ballvé, and the head of the Office of the County Down Golf, Miriam Escofet. All participants enjoyed a popular breakfast where, in addition to taste the new oil of the cooperative, ate toast, sausage, bacon, herring, roasted hazelnuts, tangerines, and drinking red wine and water. Before breakfast, five people competed in the traditional contest aioli. The winner was Manuel Castellnou neighbor Vandellòs.
