 A highly recommended bike route around the town of Prades climbing the highest peak of the mountain, the hill of Baltasana, where you can see a magnificent panorama. To make this route should be located in the town of Prades. You can get there by road T-704, which communicates with Reus through February and Maspujols or from Valls C-37, TV-7041 and T-704 through Alcover, Mont-ral and Capafonts. It can also be done by any U.S. through T-700 Vimbodí Poblet Espluga of Francolí (exit 9 of the AP-2). From the famous square of Prades (km 0) to quit the road and went toward Poblet left. Only 250 meters away, past the park, take the street Colomers right, which flanks the torrent de la Fuente. Continue straight up and at 1.74 km under the water tank of Prades, leaving a trail and followed to the left. At 1.9 km turn left and climb up to another track (2.42 miles) amounting Prades and take right. Leave the neck of the Forest (km 3.4), where again we turn to the right. Half miles beyond where you are taken to a small neck to the right track (3.88 km) that rises to the hill Baltasana (4.33 km) lookout at 1201 m altitude and roof of the Prades mountains. It returns the neck, where it continues to the right, following a very large fire in NE. At 5.1 km you leave the firewall. Take a detour to the right, heading SE, in 450 m leads to the cave of Peter, a construction troglodytic (cave under a rock) very curious and interesting. It gets to the point of diversion and continue straight to the northeast. Enters the forest and at 6.55 miles, the trail turns to the S. Entry to the plans of the house in Labrador. Must pay attention to the path to the right point and 6.68 at 220 m, leads to the curious rock formation called rock Gríngol (to climb to leave the bike below). It returns to the main track, which now takes the E direction and then turns S. Immediately after crossing the firewall and turning away, at 7.56 km, leaving a deviation to the left and go straight (to the left, following the path marked as GR-171, you can go to Poblet). Now comes down, to 8.2 km turn left down a path that clearly and continue the descent. Leave two deviations to the left and goes across the pond to collect water that has been found in the first leg (9.57 miles). Before reaching the bottom of the pond, just after spending a very small stream and without turning on the right are various ways. Take over the left (9.64 km) march to the east and rises gently to the beginning. It goes back all the main path zigzags and deviations leaving secondary to left and right in the middle of a lush oak are examples of where the call Rebollo oak, giant leaves. At 12.64 miles you are at the hermitage of San Roque. Turn left to go (in 400 m) to the shrine of Our Lady of Abellera built a grotto under the sixteenth century and which until recently housed hermits. It is a mystical place that invites contemplation. Must return to the track deviation above and continue down until it finds one through which the GR-65-5, leading to Prades. At 15.56 miles you are, again, the starting point.
