On Saturday, May 25, 2013, will celebrate the annual festival of Gavada in honor of St. Quitèria. At 12 h., Mass will e held in the chapel of the abandoned village , and at 2pm., A meal in which 150 people participated last year. After the meal, attendees will dance folk dance par excellence of this holiday: the jack of Gavadà.
With this celebration, children, descendants and friends Gavadà want to keep the memory and remember the ancestors and roots of this town center Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant, uninhabited since the 50s or so.
The festival is organized by the Friends of Gavadà, sponsored by the City of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant.
